Job Description SummaryThis position will support ongoing research studies in the department of Cardiology. The individual will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into multiple electronic data systems along with other clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills. Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week.

Job DescriptionJob Duties:20%: Enter data into sponsor provided EDC. The individual will collect data from the electronic medical record and research chart to enter data in the provided EDC.
20% - Resolve queries in the EDC. The individual will answer follow-up questions in the EDC and provide additional source documents as requested.
20% - Assist Research Coordinators and Research RNs with study visits as needed.
20% - Collect source from ancillary departments – echocardiogram, MRI, CT. The individual will collect the required source and upload into the required database for sponsor review.
20% - Assist the study team with administrative duties as directed by the Nurse Administrator.
Preferred Experience, Skills, And Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree or current pursuit of bachelor’s degree required.
Prefer a candidate interested in pursuing a career in heath care.
