I often view  some of the other online Olds pages to chat and get some useful info but this is my first time on this site. I live up here in Gladwin, Michigan and have recently finished my 71 olds cutlass. Cant wait for warm weather to get her out of storage.

I am in need of some help though, does anyone know of a shop up this way that re-chromes bumpers?? I really want to get the rear one redone.

I have attached a pic of my car, what do you think?

hey frostbyte. nice ride. cant wait to get mine out either. you might try the bumper boys. not sure if they have a web site. they go to a lot of car shows and swap meets in michigan. they take your old bumper as a core and sell you a rechromed one right off the trailer. i have been told that his prices are pretty reasonable also. good luck, mike

I know that this is an old thread but I wouldn't recommend Bumper Boyz to my enemies.

What I've seen of their stuff shows very poor workmanship especially if its been patched or straightened.
The 'chrome' is sub-standard and deteriorates quickly.

Pay a couple bucks more and get the good stuff.  If your bumper is straight and solid don't trade it for someone else's problem.
Their core may have been bumped or tweaked which will result in a lot of problems trying to get it to line up properly on your car.

Is there a car show nearby?
You'll probably find me there.
